Robots From Tomorrow!

With two trailers now out, the lads weigh in on the upcoming Infinity War film from Marvel Studios. Who’s hyped? Who’s not? Who makes it through alive? Speculation runs rampant! All that, plus the chances of (lady) Death appearing, the merits of pants vs no pants for planet-eating cosmic entities, and how Jack Kirby still can’t catch a break. Opinions assemble!

The comics window-shopping continues! Flipping to the front of the catalog, Mike & Greg’s attention focuses on the Premier Publishers section: Dark Horse! DC! Image! IDW! Marvel! What's coming to comic shops in May from these companies that catches the lads’ fancies? How about what Image is cooking up? Terrible joke, but really, there's a cooking comic on the horizon. Then, of course, there's the transatlantic madness of 2000 AD's D'Israeli wading into the Mignolaverse.

All that, plus Greg's underwhelming response to IDW's latest Artist's Edition, boundless jubilation for Jim Rugg comics, and even some kind words about Marvel. From both hosts! Definitely something for everyone as the guys close out their trip through the March “Previews” catalog!

Another month, another “Previews” catalog to dissect! As always, Mike & Greg start things off with the diverse Green section, covering the majority of publishers in one fell swoop. What's coming to comic shops in May (or later) that catches the lads’ fancies? The (four-color) Ballad of Halo Jones! Spurrier & Bergara’s Coda! The collected adventures of Young Frances! True Vietnamese tales with a French accent! A BOOMing publisher! Lois Lane (yes, THAT Lois Lane and yes, in the Green section)!

All that, plus the truth behind Hartley Lin, an Enchanted Chest containing a ton of hidden art treasure, and more. Definitely something for everyone in the top half of this two-part “Previews” walkthrough!

The comics window-shopping continues! Flipping to the front of the catalog, Mike & Greg’s attention focuses on the Premier Publishers section: Dark Horse! DC! Image! IDW! Marvel! What's coming to comic shops in April from these companies that catches the lads’ fancies? Sonic the Hedgehog gets a running start at IDW! Gabriel Hardman brings the terror back to the Xenomorphs!
