There have been many tribute books recently that have dropped jaws with their list of contributors, but none have come close to amassing a gobsmackingly powerful collection of talent as Locust Moon's Little Nemo: Dream Another Dream anthology. With over 130 creators attached, each contributing a full page of Nemo-inspired comics that will be printed at the size of Windsor McCay's original strips (a staggering 16"x21"), this book will be the new standard by which other such anthologies will be measured against.

Click here to see the list of creators involved.

With the Kickstarter campaign entering its final week, Greg got a chance to talk to one of the men putting this book together: Locust Moon's Josh O'Neill. They talk about the origins of the project, how the team avoided some of the pitfalls with such a massive book, and why this whole experience has been one of the most emotionally rewarding of his young career.

The lads throw tradition to the wind by taking an in-depth look at two comics (or one, depending on your point of view) currently hitting shelves every other week: Brian Michael Bendis’ All-New and Uncanny X-Men.

Following his 8-year Avengers run, Bendis took a quick trip to 1964, picked up a few passengers, and showed up for All-New X-Men #1 with the original five Xavier students (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Iceman, and Angel) in tow. This juxtaposition kicks off his X-Men tenure and is the gift that keeps on giving, both in terms of story momentum and reader guessing.

See what side of the issues raised the hosts fall on in this sprawling free-form discussion of both All-New and Uncanny X-Men up through "Battle of the Atom", where the Marvel Mutantverse finds itself decades after the foundational Claremont issues, and how good a pair of hands it finds itself in with Bendis.

The second half of the Robots From Tomorrow Summer Roadtrip is here!

Greg made his way down to Charlotte for HeroesCon two weeks ago and returned with audio goodness. In addition to co-hosting the The Hour Cosmic panel with Chad "America's Got" Bowers that saw Tom Scioli, Ming Doyle, and Jim Rugg pitted against each other in a comics trivia deathmatch, Greg got a chance to catch up with Jim, Gabriel Hardman, and Justin Jordan. All that and a little more is served up in one two-hour slab of audio goodness that's only a mouse click away!

(Note: My talk with Gabriel took place while I was sitting for my con portrait; hence the beginning talk about my posture and such. You can see all the amazing portraits at his website.)

A couple of weeks ago Mike left behind the comforts of our subterranian recording studio and made his way to Special Edition: NYC. Feeling the need to have a more comics focused event, the folks behind New York Comic Con decided to start the summer off with what was essentially an Artist Alley extravaganza. Top flight creators set up shop alongside retailers and a subdued publisher presence for a show that felt like a convention from yesterday. Greg was preparing for the following weekend's Heroes Con and couldn't make it to the show, but fear not! Mike wrangled fellow Multiversity cohorts (Multiversians?) Brian Salvatore and James Johnston into an impromptu floor conversation!
